Greetings Hoarders,

You did it! You have officially unlocked not one, but TWO bonus colouring pages! And the polls determined it would be the multi-classing derpy! Giving you potentially 3 colouring pages! But we still have 3 days to unlock a 4th colouring page.
 

The more people who vote, the more likely we will unlock it! Want to push us to the finish line? Comment on the polls and this update! For today, you can tell me which of the derpies is most like your mood in the poll!

Today's Derpy is possibly one of my new favourites. When I first told my Patreons that I planned to do an ABC book of the Derpies, they were sceptical. Not that I blame them, Q, X, and Z are notoriously limited in the English language. Though I actually found them quite easy because I am able to break the rules a little bit in this ABC book. It is no secret that I like skulls and skeletons... and my original idea was just X-Ray (The little thought bubble derpy) But...this is an "adult" ABC book. Which made me think outside the box a little. How could our Derpy be "naughty" (XXX) but also not... And this is what I came up with ^_^ Here is my little Bad Dragon 😉IYKYK.


"X" is for X-ray-ted


What started as an innocent inspiration with X-ray, quickly devolved into some inside adulting humour and a spin on words :) (Hey, don't blame me! I create 🔞art in another life and style, okay? And I write spicy romantasy!)

The little skelly is a mini pin from the Haunted Dragon series, and the "X" ray-ted derpy is new. I think of all my mini pins, this little skelly derpy is my favourite.

Greetings Hoarders,

Today's letter brings two more of my favourite Derpies to you. (I know I say that a lot, but every time I see them I am reminded that I like this one too. So I might have several favourites.😂 But can you blame me? Can you choose a single favourite Derpy? And if so... which one?) 

"W" is for Weird

This one is especially for all my fellow weirdlings! Because nothing in this ABC book is "normal"! And neither are we! Which is a good thing, because normal is overrated anyway.


Featuring "Hektor" - a custom Derpy from the Haunted Derpy Dragons set, and my "Weirdling" Derpy from the original Derpies! 


I loved the weirdling so much, I made a full illustration of him as well! Something only 6 derpies can claim. Sure, I have grand ambitions of doing more...eventually.... But in the meantime, here is one you can enjoy ^_^

Ironically I don't have a lot else to update today....oh wait, nevermind.
 

WE UNLOCKED THE FIRST NOM NOM DERPY! 

This little guy will now join the hoard as a 1" mini pin ^_^ The apple will feature red glitter ^_^ Making him the first special derpy for this series. Now one thing I should mention, the goal is still to make these into a set. And "unlocking" him during the campaign means that any not unlocked during the campaign will determine the Pledgemanager stretch goal we need. One down, two to go! 


We are also SUPER close to unlocking the next BONUS colouring page! So keep those votes and comments coming! Speaking of votes, tell me which colouring page you want for the second one!

Greetings Hoarders,

It was a close race, but in the end the second nom nom derpy won.
I'm not secretly celebrating... (Okay, maybe a little bit)

Today has been a hectic day, from finishing commissions, to kids' dentist visits, and grad meetings... I am wiped. Though on the plus side... I am now the proud owner of A LOT of new Purdies chocolate bars... That's a good thing? Right? At least it's a really good quality chocolate. Maybe I should throw some into the pledge manager as add-ons, in case you wanted to try some good Canadian chocolate ^_^. It'll be perfect for nomming while you read the "D" is for Derpy Dragons art book ^_^

But, I digress. Today's letter is one of my favourites, featuring two of my favourite pins from the Haunted Derpy Dragons set!

"V" is for Vendetta Voodoo


I don't think that Derpies are Vindictive at all. Well...maybe a little bit.

(Chocolate is my favourite adulting coping strategy. It never judges and is always there for you when you need it--unless you didn't buy it, again, and have to get off your lazy butt to go buy some.)

Greetings Hoarders,

The 1st Nom Nom Derpy has won the final popularity contest! He was the original design before I got bored and created the other 3. The more I think about it; I think I will make these into a set of 3 vs 4. The biggest reason being that it would be more affordable for more backers to get a set of 3 vs 4. So today's vote would be which one of the two that are closest in pose (Exact same pose, different expression) would you pick if you had a choice? Not saying the fourth one won't ever be a pin, just maybe not a part of the set. 


Also, as it stands, my artist proof showed up today for the art book and it looks so good in real life! Holding my books in person for the first time is always a special moment, so I made a video of it You can view the videos here: Instagram: / Facebook / Patreon / BSKY


I am so happy with it! I just want to snuggle it ^^

Which brings us to my Imposter Derpy page. 

"U" is for Unnervingly, Unhinged, Unlucky, Unicorn!


You thought all the derpies were dragons, didn't you? This little unicorn was drawn for my daughter who loves unicorns and colours and pretty things...Eventually I will make an imposter Derpy campaign, but for now you simply get to enjoy it in the art. It also features my "I am sorry my dragon ate your unicorn" derpy from the original set!

Greetings Hoarders,

The second Nom Nom Derpy is the second one with his mouth open!

I love this little guy! (Okay, I love them all). I think if we can unlock 3 Derpy Nom Noms as a set, it would be number 2,3,4 to make the most "complete" set. Unless we can unlock them all. A set of 3 would also mean the cost for the full set would be more reasonable for backers vs 4 pins. (No matter how adorable I think they all are)

And after speaking with my manufacturer and seeing mockups, I will make it red glitter 🥰 vs swirl. If we don't unlock this set during the campaign, we can still do so in the pledgemanager, so fear not! These nom nom derpies will happen one way or another.

Today I am sharing two letters again. 

"S" is for (anti)Social


Featuring both the new antisicial Derpy, as well as my all time favourite Derpy, the Shadows are friends Derpy from my original Derpies! He was the very first custom Derpy by a backer ^_^ And is available not only as pins and stickers, but also wall art and pillow cases!


Eventually I will make a fully illustrated Derpy Art book two, and I suspect he will be my cover art I love him so much! But for now we will enjoy him in the "D" is for Derpy Dragons art book instead ^_^

"T" is for Trainwreck


Featuring the brand new "My life is on track" derpy dragon. Alas he is a class all his own, so he doesn't share the page with anyone else. But he is possibly one of the most relatable Derpies yet. (At least as far as my life is concerned!)

Hope you are all avoiding adulting today, and having a most excellent time procrastinating! (I know I am getting side quested into a million directions today! And I can't wait to share the details with you!) Hint: it involves celestial bodies and derpies and shiny festive shenanigans! (Can you guess what it is? Let me know in the comments!)
